To ship back your sample, follow the simple instructions for repacking and using your prepaid label. Once our lab receives your sample, your test results will typically be available within 2 weeks.

Your Cologuard kit expires one year from the date of the order. Because timely screening is important to your health, we suggest collecting your sample as soon as you receive it.
Also, check the Cologuard box for the expiration date. If that date has passed, or you have other questions, call Customer Care at 1-844-870-8870. We can help you get a new kit at no additional cost.

The Triple S method: 3 easy steps for using the Cologuard kit
Set up
Unpack your kit, check the expiration date, and follow the instructions inside.
Sample
Collect and scrape your sample, then fill the sample container with the preservative.
Ship back
Drop off or schedule a UPS® pickup using the prepaid label. Make sure to send back your sample on the same, or the next day at the latest. Once our lab receives your sample, test results will typically be available within 2 weeks.
Send back for test results
Shipping your kit back to our lab is easy. Schedule a UPS® pickup right from your home or find your nearest drop-off location.
Understanding your Cologuard test results
Test results are typically sent to your health care provider within 2 weeks. You can also view them in your account once they’re available. Take a deeper dive into what a positive or negative result means and what steps to take.
